How can I manage frizz? 

Frizz can be a real party pooper, but we've got some tips to keep it under control:

a) Less is more: Avoid over-shampooing your hair, as it can strip away natural oils and leave you with a frizz fiesta. Opt for sulphate-free shampoos and aim to wash your hair no more than two or three times a week. 

b) Moisture is your BFF: Hydration is the key to fighting frizz. Embrace the power of leave-in conditioners or hydrating hair masks to keep your curls nourished and happy. And don't forget to seal in that moisture with a sprinkle of natural oils like argan or coconut oil!

c) Diffuse your worries: Grab your diffuser and let it work its magic. Set your hairdryer to a low heat setting and scrunch your curls gently as you dry. You'll be left with lovely, luscious (frizz-free) fun! 

How do I prevent tangles? 

Tangles are the troublemakers of the curly hair world, but fear not! We'll help you twirl your way to tangle-free tresses:

a) Detangle with grace: When your hair is wet and slathered in conditioner, use a wide tooth comb to gently detangle, starting from the ends and working your way up. 

b) Sleep like royalty: Trade your cotton pillowcase for a satin or silk fit for a curly-haired queen (or king). The smooth texture reduces friction, ensuring a tangle-free slumber. 

c) Protective hairstyles: It's time to get creative with hairstyles to keep those tangles at bay. Try braids, twists, or buns that look fabulous and protect your curls. It's like giving your hair a vacation from tangles!

How can I define my curls? 

Conditioning and detangling are the real secret. Check out these techniques:

a) Magic in a bottle: Apply your favourite curl-enhancing cream or gel to wet or damp hair. Scrunch the product into your curls from the ends to the roots. Avoid touching your hair until it's completely dry to prevent frizz, and let those curls shine!

b) Finger twirling fun: When your hair is wet, grab small sections and twirl them around your fingers. This technique encourages your curls to take shape and gives you those enviable defined locks.

c) Air dry or diffuse with flair: After washing, gently blot excess water using a soft microfiber towel or an old t-shirt. Then, let your hair air dry for a breezy look or use a diffuser on low heat to add some volume while maintaining those stunning curls.

Can I really ditch the shampoo? 

Yes! It seems crazy, but a curly girl can and should dump shampoo as often as possible!
